About Our College

St. Narsai Assyrian Christian College, established in 2006, is a year 7-12 co-educational Christian independent College of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East.

St. Narsai Assyrian Christian College is considered a unique educational institution in many aspects. It is the first Assyrian College to be established in the Western world and came into existence as a fulfilment of His Beatitude, Archbishop, Mar Meelis Zaia’s (AM) dream.

Issue 3: Term 1, 2024

College students and staff commemorated mid fast three weeks ago, and students and staff volunteered within the Christian Studies department to bake and distribute special cupcakes for all students and staff as we continue to observe our Church tradition of “Pallo”.

Issue 2: Term 1, 2024

College students and staff welcomed the start of the Great Fast for the Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (Easter) two weeks ago through daily prayers in every homeroom as well as weekly special prayer services at the College organised by Miss. Kako, our Christian Studies Co-ordinator and conducted by our Chaplain, Fr. Shamuel.

Issue 1: Term 1, 2024

Dear Parents, Students and friends of the College, I am delighted to welcome you- our existing St. Narsai college families back to St. Narsai College. I also extend a very warm welcome and greetings to the new families and students from Year 7 and from other years who have joined our college community this year. I pray you and your families have had a restful summer break with your loved ones and are excited as we embark on a new school year in 2024.

Issue 3: Term 4, 2023

Dear Parents, Students and Friends,
As I reflect back to the 2023 school year and considering the pleasing progress made by our wonderful students in every area, I can’t help but to be proud of the community of St. Narsai Assyrian Christian College for what we have achieved together this year.

Issue 2: Term 4, 2023

College students and staff took part in this year’s Remembrance Day that was held on Friday, 10th November 2023. Students across the college reflected on and revisited the
circumstances around World War One and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers and all who served in defence of our great country Australia. I take this opportunity to
thank Miss. Nona, our HSIE Coordinator and other staff for organising this significant commemoration.

Issue 1: Term 4, 2023

Three weeks ago, we welcomed all students back to school as we journey into term four and the conclusion of the 2023 school year. By now, students are back to their
usual study routines and are preparing for this term’s assessments including end of year examinations.
